Hackney RFC play at Twickenham PDF Print E-mail

What a day. The players are still wondering whether Saturday was a dream. When it finally sinks in that the club really did play at Twickenham there’s no doubt that none of the guys who went will ever forget Saturday May 16th.

The day started with a training session in West London, run by coaching legend Shaun Edwards, with Wasps Club Captain John Hart lending a hand. The boys just about survived Shaun’s “combat” defence session unscathed, before heading to Twickenham.

The fantastic day came as a result of the Guinness Club Together competition, and rewards the club for it’s hard work and success in growing it’s playing base and building towards a sustainable, successful future. A huge thank you goes to the team at Guinness for the opportunity, to Synergy for their brilliant job in organising it (especially George, who’s been brilliant) and to Shaun and John for the amazing session they ran.
